Funding Opportunities (2nd November)
This 3 hour session is for CEOs, Senior Managers and Fundraisers within charities, not for profits, community interest groups and social enterprises who want more help to raise funds for their organisation through making funding bids and a variety of fundraising methods.
This session will cover the strategy and planning for these activities as well as operational guidance on best practice. It will show you how to put together a 12 month calendar of activity to raise funds as well as an introduction to teach you how to write bids/apply for trusts and grants. There will be information on how corporate fundraising can be best conducted as well as the variety of ways that an organisation can work with other sectors to maximise awareness of your organisation.
This is an interactive and collaborative session which relies on participants offering up their experiences and sharing best practice with other members of the group. There will be the opportunity to work on your own personal calendar of future events, as well as planning for corporate liaison and strategies for legacy fundraising.
This course is ideal for new and growing organisations who wish to diversify how they raise finances going forward. Perhaps you have previously been supported with community funding that has dried up during the Covid-19.
