Doncaster VCFS Fund
A group of Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector organisations are coming together to manage a local fund established to distribute locally to help the sector address a range of community needs arising from the COVID-19 restrictions.
To be eligible to apply for and receive funding your group must fit the following criteria:
● Be a not for profit, third sector, voluntary or community group.
● Be connected with or meet the needs of Doncaster communities.
● Have a bank or building society account where at least two signatories are required to draw funds.
● Have a governing document that has a minimum of name, aim and membership.
● Meet due diligence requirements especially around safeguarding.
● Have evidence of community involvement in their application.

Barrier Buster Fund (Doncaster based enterprises only)
The Barrier Buster fund is available to the following groups in Doncaster who are supporting people or communities during Corona Virus pandemic:
- Not-for profit voluntary or community organisations
- Registered charities
- Faith-based organisations
- Not-for profit companies, community interest companies or social enterprises
DSA Community Investment Fund
In accordance with its commitment to build upon and develop relationships with local communities Doncaster Sheffield Airport has created a Community Investment Fund (CIF). The Community Investment Fund (CIF) is administered by Doncaster Sheffield Airport (DSA) to support sustainable community projects which are not eligible for funding from local authority or national sources.
Recognised voluntary, community and self-help groups can apply for support.
Project support is divided into the following categories:
- Projects in communities within 5 miles of the DSA boundary.
- Projects in communities within 10 miles of the DSA boundary.

South Yorkshire Community Foundation
South Yorkshire’s Community Foundation was founded in 1986 and makes a positive difference to local lives. We give grant funding support to community groups and projects meeting local needs and helping local people.
Active Communities Grants
The Active Communities Grants launched in December 2019 and provides opportunities for local people, groups and organizations to apply for funding of up to £500 to support Doncaster residents to be more active.
The Key Fund
The Key Fund provide flexible loans and grant/loan packages – to help community and social enterprises to start-up, become sustainable, or grow. Key Fund are also about providing the right kind of support to help investees have the best possible chance of success.
The National Lottery Community Fund
The National Lottery Community Fund award money raised by National Lottery players to fund great ideas that help communities to thrive. Groups can apply to us for funding under £10,000, or over £10,000, depending on what they want to do.
BBC Children In Need
BBC Children in Need’s vision is that children and young people in the UK have a safe, happy and secure childhood and the chance to reach their potential.
By making grants to charities and other non-profit organizations that support and work with children and young people who are disadvantaged and face challenges in their lives
We are inviting organizations in the United Kingdom to apply in one of two categories:
- Small and medium-sized organizations that focus on equalities and are user-led
- Other medium-sized organizations
The ASDA Foundation supports small grass roots organizations in a number a way throughout the year. Working with ASDA’s Community Champions in store we are able to work with a range of organizations and groups on a range of projects.
Tesco Bags of Help
Bags of Help is Tesco’s local community grant scheme, which funds thousands of community projects every year. The projects must meet the criteria of bringing benefits to the community.
The Wildlife Trusts has more than 20 years of experience in managing social and environmental grant program's totaling over £250 million, and proven successes working with and empowering people to make significant environmental and societal impacts across the UK.

We invest money from Government and the National Lottery to support arts and culture across England.
